Aero Riveters TP276 Editorial Review
The AERO Rivet Removal Tool Kit (TP276) has garnered positive feedback from users, particularly for its effectiveness in handling aluminum rivets. Customers appreciate the tool's ability to center on rivets, making it easier to drill through them without excessive effort. The process of creating dimples for better drilling and the noted ability to prolong the life of drill bits has been a highlight for many. However, performance with stainless steel rivets presents certain challenges. Reviewers have pointed out that the tool struggles to gain traction with harder materials like stainless steel, and the threaded shank bits tend to wear out quickly. This issue necessitates the use of high-quality cobalt bits alongside proper lubrication and pressure for success in drilling stainless steel pop rivets. Despite its limitations, users recommend the AERO tool for anyone engaged in rivet projects, especially those working with aluminum. The tool has proven to be a valuable addition for makers, but users also suggest keeping additional tools, like diamond points, handy for best results. **
