rolls Mixers RM 169 Editorial Review
The Rolls RM169 Professional Bluetooth Audio Mixer has elicited mixed reactions among users, particularly highlighting a divergence in performance between professional and casual applications. For professionals in sound reinforcement, such as live event technicians, the Consensus appears to be negative. Users noted significant audio issues, specifically noise issues when using the Bluetooth receiver and unintended audio bleed between channels, which undermine the integrity of high-stakes audio performances. Those working on large-budget events found that this mixer does not meet their standards and have opted to return it in favor of more reliable equipment. Conversely, casual users seem to have a more favorable experience with the mixer. One user appreciated its utility for practice sessions and casual performances, finding it easy to connect with various audio sources and manage independent volume controls. Another user noted its appeal for light DJ tasks, emphasizing the quality build and functionality adequate for non-professional gigs. However, the Bluetooth range was criticized, with a reported effective distance of only 15 feet, making it less reliable in certain setups. In summary, the Rolls RM169 is deemed unsuitable for professional use due to its audio performance issues, while casual users find it convenient for practice and simple events. However, the Bluetooth connectivity issues cast doubt on its reliability for many applications. **
