The Set of 2 Bonnet Hood Lift Support Struts is a great replacement for the hood supports of your BMW F01 F03 F04 740i 750i 750Li 760Li. It is easy to install and strong enough to hold the hood with just one. However, one customer reported that the product does not match the exact length for F01/02 and leaves the hood one foot from fully open, which makes it difficult to get to the firewall. Another customer reported that one of the new ones had to be worked on to make it stay connected. Overall, this product has received positive reviews from customers who have reported no complaints so far and that the hood shocks are still holding.
