Davis Instruments Boat Compasses 025 Editorial Review
Davis Instruments Mark 25 Working Nautical Sextant Navigation Tool is an excellent choice for both beginners and seasoned navigators. This portable sextant, made from durable plastic, weighs only 3.5 pounds and accurately assists with celestial navigation when paired with the necessary almanac and sight reduction tables. Users appreciate its ease of use and holding comfort while taking sights, although they note that it may require some practice to master. Some users wish for improved visibility during nighttime operations, but the instrument's ruggedness is praised for its resilience during travels, like chartering catamarans in the Caribbean. Overall, the Mark 25 delivers exceptional value for mastering navigational skills.
