Product Description
Fetch The Bolt Cutters
About This Item
Introducing Fetch The Bolt Cutters, the highly anticipated 2020 release by acclaimed singer-songwriter Fiona Apple. This is Apple's first album in eight years since the critically acclaimed The Idler Wheel... in 2012. Recorded over a span of five years, Fetch The Bolt Cutters is a truly unique and experimental album that defies genre categorization.
Apple, along with Amy Aileen Wood, Sebastian Steinberg, and Davíd Garza, produced and performed the album, utilizing unconventional percussive sounds and long, often-improvised takes. One of the standout features of Fetch The Bolt Cutters is the prominent use of non-musical found objects as percussion, creating an almost industrial-like rhythm. These rhythms are expertly paired with traditional melodies, resulting in an album that is both innovative and undeniably catchy. While conventional instruments like pianos and drum sets do make appearances, it's the use of these unconventional sounds that truly sets Fetch The Bolt Cutters apart. Apple describes the result as "percussion orchestras," a fitting description for the captivating blend of unconventional and traditional elements. Whether you're a fan of Fiona Apple's previous work or simply love to explore new and boundary-pushing music, Fetch The Bolt Cutters is a must-have addition to your collection.
Available in both vinyl and CD formats, this album is perfect for immersing yourself in Apple's rich sonic landscape. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this groundbreaking album. Order your copy of Fetch The Bolt Cutters today and experience the enthralling world of Fiona Apple like never before.

Fiona Apple Format: Audio CD Bolt Cutters Editorial Review
Fetch The Bolt Cutters is a highly acclaimed album by Fiona Apple. The music is great, but there have been some issues with the CD case being damaged or falling apart. Additionally, there have been complaints about receiving the wrong color of vinyl, despite the advertisement stating it would be purple. Overall, the album itself has received positive reviews, but the quality of the packaging has left something to be desired.
